Position Overview

QinetiQ is looking for a Systems Finance Coordinator to join our team! 

In this role, the Systems Finance Coordinator will provide first-line administrative and operational support across four key platforms: Costpoint SaaS, Blackline, TM1, and Purchase Requisition workflows. This entry-level role performs routine system maintenance tasks, assists with user account management, supports end-user training, and helps maintain process documentation. This position offers structured exposure to enterprise financial systems and is ideal for candidates beginning a career in financial systems administration or ERP operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings in accordance with CISO-approved policies to support data integrity and compliance.
  • Support troubleshooting of routine system issues and help coordinate tickets with technical support for timely resolution.
  • Assist with configuring modules and workflows following change control approval, under direct guidance of the Systems Manager.
  • Submit quarterly requests for Test and Sandbox environment updates; assist in tracking update schedules and maintaining related documentation.
  • Help develop and deliver end-user training materials; provide day-to-day support to Costpoint users and reinforce adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments as directed to support system alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and update PR approval titles, routing configurations and project codes within PR approval processes under the direction of the Finance Systems Manager.
  • Assist in managing Blackline user accounts, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Upload trial balances in both test and production environments; review for errors and document outcomes.
  • Assist with maintaining TM1 user license assignments, user access issues and tracking license utilization.
  • Review TM1 daily and error logs; escalate identified issues to the Systems Manager for resolution.
  • Monitor Costpoint update schedules and, under supervision, coordinate the disabling of overnight TM1 chores to prevent synchronization conflicts during Costpoint maintenance windows.
  • Assist with reconciling actual financial data between Costpoint and TM1, flagging discrepancies for senior review.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or systems support role.
  • Exposure to ERP, financial planning, or SaaS platforms is a plus (Costpoint, Blackline, TM1, or similar).
  • Experience with data entry, report maintenance, or administrative support in a professional environment preferred.
  • Comfortable working with structured software platforms; ability to learn enterprise systems quickly with training.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage recurring tasks and meet daily/weekly deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Deltek Costpoint, Blackline, or IBM TM1/Planning Analytics.
  • Familiarity with government contracting finance environments (DCAA compliance, indirect rate structures, etc.).
  • Experience creating or maintaining process documentation or SOPs.
  • Exposure to IT ticketing systems or change control processes.
Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $60,000 -  $70,00 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
