JOB SUMMARYย 

The RN is at the forefront of Proactive MDโ€™s clinical operations and is a champion of our Patient Promise: โ€œWe are only and always about the patient. We Promise to fight for their greatest good.โ€ The duties of this role will include performing clinical functions as directed by the provider in the clinic.ย .ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Completes patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures with appropriate medical equipmentย 

  • Documentsย objective and subjectiveย data and assessments in the patient recordย ย 

  • Assists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up careย 

  • Provides patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with families and caregiversย 

  • Completes medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, educationย 

  • Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelinesย 

  • Provides excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, and caregiversย 

  • The position may include triage of calls for urgent appointments, referrals for patient consults and testing, insurance pre-certification, and documentation.ย 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESย 

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing programย 

  • An active and in good standing Registered Nurse license in the state of practiceย 

  • 3+ year of clinical nursing experienceย 
  • Nurse leadership experience preferred
