Job description

Med Surg Tele Registered Nurse

Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description: We are seeking a Med Surg Tele Registered Nurse with strong experience in telemetry units. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, accountable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg telemetry setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor cardiovascular telemetry data and report findings.
  • Assist in the implementation of care plans and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Document patient care using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Med Surg Telemetry.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
