About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with us to develop, implement, and review personalized care plans for residents. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients to collect data, observing conditions, and reporting changes in condition. You will also administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols, and maintain accurate records of medical information, care plans, and incidents to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team to develop, implement, and review personalized care plans for residents

  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe conditions, and report changes in condition

  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols

  • Accurately document and maintain accurate records of medical information, care plans, and incidents to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency of care

  • Communicate effectively with residents and residents' families

  • Advocate for residents' rights and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in all aspects of care

  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Maine RN

  • Experience working within a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital (preferred)
