The Quality Assurance Analyst I is an entry-level position, reporting to Software QA Manager, responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality software products. This role focuses on executing manual test cases, participating in the automation of test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and contributing to overall quality assurance processes. The position exists to strengthen testing capacity and ensure product reliability within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and is expected to demonstrate strong attention to detail, a foundational understanding of QA methodologies, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.


Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and document test cases and results.
  • Participate in the automation of test cases, including creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Conduct regression and exploratory testing to validate application functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Use MS SQL to create test data and write simple queries.
  • Continuously learn about the application under test, QA methodologies, and tools.
  • Seek mentorship from senior team members for skill development.
  • Provide input on process improvements and participate in team discussions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in software testing, preferably in manual and black-box testing.
  • Experience or working knowledge of test automation frameworks, preferably using Playwright.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and report issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with QA best practices and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
