Job description

The TOPS Commissioned ARMED Officer provides essential after-hours security coverage for private venues, working as part of a dedicated 4-person team. This role requires licensed and commissioned officers by TOPS/DPS who demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a secure environment during late-night hours. Officers typically serve at local venues, ensuring safety through their expertise in security, law enforcement, or military backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide armed security coverage during after-hours (1am – 5am) primarily FRI/SAT
  • Secure and monitor private venues to safeguard patrons and property
  • Coordinate effectively with a 4-person security detail
  • Maintain high situational awareness and respond to incidents promptly
  • Uphold professional uniform appearance and conduct
