Position Overview

The Risk Management Administrator assists the Vice President of Risk Management in daily operation of department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews Owner contracts and identifies insurance requirements for agreements received from Legal Department and project staff for all Alberici enterprise entities.
  • Identifies subcontractor flow-down insurance requirements and input into Prolog or Procore system.
  • Requests or issues insurance certificates on behalf of all Alberici owned entities.
  • Advises Legal Department of unreasonable Owner insurance requirements and works with Legal as clarifications/negotiations are delegated with Owner.
  • Obtains second-tier insurance requirements included in agreements, updates in accounting system and compiles details for future renewals.
  • Reviews subcontractor/vendor Additional Insured endorsements.
  • Reviews Builderโ€™s Risk/Riggerโ€™s specifics included in Owner contracts and obtain coverage, as needed.
  • Reviews equipment rental agreements received and identifies insurance requirements.
  • Reviews Owner Controlled Insurance Project (OCIP) manuals prior to the start-up of a project, prepares project-specific Exhibit B, and works, in conjunction with CIP Manager, with OCIP administrator during duration of project.
  • Advises Human Resources of insurance requirements for Personal Services Provider Agreements and confirms compliance with those insurance requirements.
  • Requests MVRs (Motor Vehicle Records) from vendor for driver authorizations or in conjunction with pending vehicle assignments, reviews the MVRs and advises Risk Manager of any concerns.
  • Conducts annual MVR audit.
  • Oversees Company vehicle GPS oversight program on behalf of Risk Management.
  • Produces internal invoices on behalf of Hillsdale Insurance.
  • Other tasks or projects as assigned by the Vice President of Risk Management.
  • Travels to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required.
  • Exhibits regular and reliable attendance in person as required by the Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree and 2 yearsโ€™ related experience/training in construction insurance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
