In this role you will support schematic capture, PCB layout/drafting, component library work, and documentation for RF and power electronic boards under the guidance of senior draftsmen and engineers. The position emphasizes practical drafting and layout skills rather than RF engineering theory or full electrical design responsibility.

You will work closely with RF and electrical engineers to help turn their concepts into accurate board layouts. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, eager to learn specialized RF and power layout practices, and comfortable working in a collaborative engineering environment. Responsibilities: Assist with schematic capture and PCB layout/drafting for RF and power boards under senior direction.

Support creation and updating of component libraries and footprints, with emphasis on RF and power Integrated Circuits. Perform component placement, basic routing, and layout updates while following established design rules and engineer guidance. Help generate design documentation, BOMs, Gerbers, and assembly packages.

Collaborate with RF and electrical engineers and senior draftsmen to incorporate changes and resolve layout issues. Support prototype fabrication reviews, basic inspection, and documentation tasks. Maintain accurate design files and follow established drafting standards and processes.

Perform other related drafting and support duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: Associate's degree in Electronics, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 0-3 years of relevant PCB drafting, layout, or electronic drafting experience (internships, academic projects, or technical training are acceptable).

Foundational knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout principles. Willingness and ability to learn layout practices specific to RF and power Integrated Circuits. Ability to work in a hands-on lab/prototyping support environment.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Desired: Hands-on experience or coursework with schematic capture / PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, PADS, or similar). Exposure to RF or power-related components, boards, or Integrated Circuits. Familiarity with basic IPC standards or design documentation practices.
