Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist provides administrative, clerical, and financial system support to the Revenue Cycle Management team. This role assists with daily revenue integrity reconciliation, billing readiness, documentation collection, and operational coordination across Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and postacute care billing workflows. The Specialist ensures accurate data entry, timely communication with facility partners, and consistent support for monthend close processes. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow within healthcare revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years in Revenue Cycle Management for skilled nursing facilities or in a relevant medical field

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, and Adobe Pro

• Strong organizational, communication, and timemanagement skills

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule

• Ability to be detail-oriented

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information

• Ability to work in a fastpaced, multifunctional environment and meet daily/monthly deadlines

Essential Functions

• Provide operational, scheduling, and administrative support to the Revenue Cycle Management team

• Prepare and generate reporting documents for Executive Management

• Maintain daily revenue integrity reconciliation for Skilled Caseload patient accounts within the financial system

• Facilitate communication with facility teams, precertification staff, and regional case managers to ensure billing requirements are accurately entered

• Verify and enter approved levels of care and reimbursement changes into the financial system

• Gather, prepare, and submit documentation for financial record requests

• Support process improvement and project management tasks for the Revenue Cycle team

• Open and distribute corporate mail and route correspondence to appropriate departments

• Provide interdisciplinary backup support for critical revenue cycle functions as needed

• Assist with monthend close processes and revenue cycle reporting

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all tasks and projects
