Business Data Analyst (Entry Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Business Data Analyst to join our growing team in Cape Coral, FL. In this role, you will support business intelligence initiatives by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to help drive strategic decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build a career in data analytics within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•       Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.

•       Build, maintain, and enhance Excel-based reports, dashboards, and data models (including PivotTables, PivotCharts, Power Query, and advanced formulas).

•       Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for stakeholders across departments.

•       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver timely, accurate analyses.

•       Translate complex data findings into clear, concise presentations and written summaries for non-technical audiences.

•       Assist in the development and documentation of standardized reporting processes and best practices.

•       Support ad hoc data requests and special projects as assigned by management.

•       Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and flag anomalies or areas of concern proactively.

Required Qualifications

•       Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

•       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel — including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, data validation, conditional formatting, Power Query, and charting.

•       Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

•       Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

•       Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

•       Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases.

•       Exposure to ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite).

•       Coursework or hands-on experience with data visualization and storytelling.

•       Prior internship or co-op experience in a data, finance, or operations role.
