Job description

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Research Assistant to support research and analysis. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys in-depth research, problem-solving, and managing multiple active matters in a dynamic, high-volume setting.


Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive conflicts of interest searches for new hires, new clients, and new matters for existing clients
  • Review and analyze conflicts documentation for accuracy and completeness; follow up as needed
  • Communicate directly with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, regarding conflicts status and clearance timelines
  • Assist with onboarding processes related to client and matter intake
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve conflicts issues and ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Manage multiple active matters at once, often across a wide variety of industries and client types
  • Maintain detailed records and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Liberal Arts or research-focused disciplines strongly preferred
  • Strong interest in research and analytical work; familiarity with research databases is a plus
  • Previous customer service experience required (retail, hospitality, or other fast-paced environments welcome
  • Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with senior stakeholder
