The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to innovation, process optimization, and high-impact R&D initiatives within a modern, growth-oriented manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) data within internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify discrepancies in BOM records, correct errors, and maintain high standards of data integrity.
  • Create, update, and maintain records so that all information remains current, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Support the migration of R&D data and documentation into the SAGE system, ensuring smooth and accurate data transfer.
  • Manually enter data from legacy systems into SAGE with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Capture and document technical attributes such as particle size and water activity accurately within relevant systems.
  • Assist in designing and executing small-scale blending experiments to support R&D and process development activities.
  • Operate and utilize lab-scale equipment to evaluate blend times and mixing performance, ensuring optimal blending efficiency.
  • Document experimental procedures, observations, and results thoroughly, supporting analysis and reporting for batching and formulation optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and other internal teams to support timely project completion and alignment with business needs.
  • Communicate project progress, findings, and issues clearly and proactively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support R&D initiatives and overall departmental objectives.

  • Familiarity with ERP or business systems such as SAGE, particularly for data entry and system migration activities.
  • Interest in powdered dietary supplements, functional foods, or related product categories.
  • Comfort working in both office and lab/pilot plant settings and transitioning between computer-based and hands-on tasks.
  • Motivation to contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimization within an R&D function.

Work Environment

This is a 3-month contract role supporting multiple active R&D projects in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible start times available between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM as long as core hours are covered.
