Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Research Assistant to join our team at our Fairview Community Health & Wellness Hub in St. Paul, MN.  The Research Assistant collects, abstracts, reviews, compiles, and enters data into various computer systems. Assists with design of survey tools. Ensures data quality and error-correction for research, program evaluation and outcome-related projects. Prepares and presents both oral and written reports. Interprets statistics and graphs as needed.

Position Details

  • 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period)
  • day shift
  • as needed weekends


Responsibilities

  • Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
  • Collects, abstracts, reviews, compiles, and enters data into various computer systems.
  • Prepares statistical, graphic, and/or written reports.
  • Assists with coordination of research, outcomes, and program evaluation projects.
  • Assists with writing manuscripts of research projects.


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in clinical or other health care setting, or equivalent combination of education and research experience.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology and coding

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college coursework in computer science, research design and statistics.
  • Statistical software (SPSS)
