Escrow Administrative Assistant
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a mortgage servicing company in East Phoenix. This organization is in search of an escrow administrative assistant to join their team. This job is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The hourly rate it up to $23/hr.
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining escrow account information related to property taxes and homeowners insurance and bills. The ideal candidate will have prior mortgage servicing escrow experience and a strong understanding of tax and insurance servicing processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Research and accurately enter property tax and property insurance information into the servicing system.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and records for escrow (impound) accounts, including tax and insurance documentation.
  • Communicate with insurance agents, taxing authorities, and customers to verify, update, and resolve account information.
  • Process property tax and insurance payments accurately and within required timelines.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly tax and insurance notices and customer correspondence.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure escrow records remain accurate and current.
  • Monitor insurance coverage amounts and verify compliance with servicing requirements.
  • Handle insurance policy cancellations, reinstatements, and related account updates.
  • Oversee complex escrow accounts requiring additional review and direct account management.
  • Provide advanced support for tax and insurance servicing functions.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MUST have previous mortgage servicing escrow/impound experience.
  • Experience handling property taxes, homeowners insurance, and escrow account maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing processes and escrow administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional customer service skills with the ability to work with borrowers and third-party vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
