The Investment Research Analyst position is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in investment management as part of a leading investment firm. This is a 2-year, entry-level position with the potential for high performing analysts to expand and extend their engagement at the firm for an additional 2 - 3 years in a senior analyst position.

In This Role You Will:

  • Act as a key member of the investment team, participating in all aspects of the investment process - including joining meetings with existing and prospective investment managers, developing quantitative and qualitative evaluations of investment opportunities, and analyzing performance data and portfolio characteristics.
  • Evaluate the market environment within asset classes (e.g. stocks, bonds, private equity, real estate, energy, and alternatives/absolute return) and collaborate with cross-asset teams.
  • Prepare thematic presentations on markets and investment opportunities for internal audiences including the broader Investment Research team and Pathstone's portfolio managers.
  • Support Pathstone's portfolio managers and their client teams by responding to requests for information and analysis on current and prospective fund investments.

Pay Transparency: Pathstone's expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $85,000 - $90,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
