Your expertise will support individuals, couples, families, and groups as they navigate various mental health challenges.

About the Organization

At South Spring Behavioral Health Center, we are committed to fostering a culture of mental wellness and resilience. Our organization provides innovative telehealth services that empower clients to receive therapy from the comfort of their own homes. Our team comprises highly skilled mental health professionals dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective care, advocating for clientsโ€™ rights, and ensuring continuous support throughout their healing journeys.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while enabling you to connect with clients through secure telehealth platforms. You will be part of a collaborative team environment that values communication, commitment, and professional growth. Our virtual setting offers the tools and resources needed to engage effectively with clients, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance and ensuring that mental health care remains accessible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health needs, establish accurate clinical diagnoses, and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, customizing your approach to meet the diverse goals of each client.
  • Respond promptly to acute mental health crises by providing crisis intervention, support, and safety planning to ensure clients receive immediate care when needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential electronic health records, documenting treatment progress, assessments, and client interaction notes in compliance with ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources, serving as an advocate for their needs and entitlements.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on the latest therapeutic methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. The South Spring Behavioral Health Center emphasizes providing culturally sensitive services that address socio-economic, racial, and personal differences. You will be essential in guiding clients through difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and general life transitions, empowering them to achieve healthier outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of a masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
  • Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnosis skills, demonstrating a strong ability to recognize and address a variety of mental health conditions.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing your capability to handle various client scenarios effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting, contributing positively to group dynamics.
  • A strong commitment to ethical standards and professionalism in all aspects of mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not a prerequisite for entry-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology will be beneficial.
  • A background in specialized therapeutic modalities may enhance your candidacy.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, complemented by an attractive sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as generous paid time off, holidays, and flexible scheduling opportunities. Employees will also have access to ongoing education and professional development resources.
