Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed psychological assessments of clients to accurately understand their mental health conditions, establishing clinical diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family counseling, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, utilizing de-escalation techniques and referral to emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with ethical standards, including client progress notes and treatment evaluations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge about community resources.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide array of mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and interpersonal conflicts. Sensitivity to cultural backgrounds and individualized care approaches is vital in fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications
  • Valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Massachusetts.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Possess strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to formulate effective treatment strategies.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time effectively while remaining an active member of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism within mental health practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience within a clinical setting is advantageous, focusing on a variety of therapeutic approaches and patient demographics.
  • Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and telehealth-related workflows is beneficial for successful client engagement.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
