Summary
You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (TECHNICIAN) in the EOD Systems Division (W3), Force Protection Systems Branch (W35) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322).

  • You will serve as a subject matter expert on Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Armory and Magazine projects.
  • You will provide comprehensive administrative leadership, financial accountability, and strategic oversight for the production of pre-engineered and prefabricated armories and magazines for the Department of War.
  • You will be consulted in the planning, designing, analyzing, improving, and installing of integrated systems in portable armories and magazines.
  • You will provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure strict adherence to NSWC IHD Specifications 3046-1 and 3046-2, as well as all applicable Unified Facilities Criteria and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command regulatory standards.
  • You will ensure the organization's vision, mission and strategic plans are communicated with customers and other team members.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading technical engineering projects to support the production or installation of complex technical systems (such as armories, magazines, ordnance, or weapons systems) by resolving technical or programmatic issues and monitoring vendor progress for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and meeting program objectives.
