We are currently recruiting for remote AHIMA or AAPC credentialed facility and profee medical coding specialists with at least 3 years' of recent experience in addition to any formal training. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for accurate coding of ED facility and profee, infusion and injection, wound care facility as well and pain management surgery coding. The coder needs to be strong and current with ED and must be able to code E&M facility levels and should have experience coding infusion and injection and pain management surgery coding. All work is carried out in accordance with the rules, regulations and coding conventions of the American Hospital Association (Coding Clinic), ICD-10-CM, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three (3) recent years of ED facility and profee coding experience.
  • Experience coding infusion and injection, wound care and pain management surgery
  • Fulltime hours 40hrs a week
  • Highly preferred to have CPSI/Trubridge/Trucode.
  • Must have 3M experience.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a High School Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3-5) years RECENT ED hospital and profee coding experience.
  • Proficient with OP Facility Coding Guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge ICD10PCS/CM coding principles.


SHIFT/HOURS: M-F Flexible 8 daily hours between 7am-7pm Mountain Time Zone

EXPECTED HOURS: 40

LICENSE/CREDENTIALS REQ: CCS and CPC preferred

SYSTEMS: CPSI/TruBridge/TruCode, 3M
