• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess patients’ needs and identify barriers to treatment, thereby enhancing their health status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and support staff, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote successful health outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering personal growth and recovery.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sun Valley Consultation Services, you will primarily serve clients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. You will address the unique needs of diverse populations, emphasizing the importance of cultural competence and sensitivity in your approach. Understanding the complexities of mental health issues, including co-occurring disorders, will be essential as you assess patients' readiness for change and provide the necessary support.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential from the State Board of Social Work Licensure.
• Thorough understanding of the NASW Code of Ethics and commitment to upholding social work professional standards in practice.
• A solid grasp of psychosocial dynamics and the ability to develop treatment strategies that adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Skilled in analytical thinking and therapy techniques necessary for evaluating patient needs and tracking treatment progression.

While a minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred, experience in substance use disorder treatment or similar environments is especially valuable. Your background should reflect familiarity with the issues faced by the populations we serve, as well as an understanding of the aging process, human development stages, and cultural patterns that influence care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
