• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs, goals, and psychosocial assessments.
• Document all treatment plans, progress notes, incident reports, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Lead and facilitate therapeutic consumer groups focusing on skill development and support within the community.
• Engage in individual counseling sessions with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic treatment and continuity of care.
• Maintain active relationships with local agencies and civic organizations to assist clients with accessing social services and community resources.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, interns, and volunteers to design and implement programs that cater to the unique needs of our consumer base.
• Initiate and nurture contacts with potential referral sources, including both inpatient and outpatient facilities, to enhance client intake and service delivery.
• Contribute to maintaining accreditation and compliance with relevant standards, including JCAHO and DBH, by staying informed on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Assist in outreach activities to promote awareness of mental health services available within the community.
• Adhere to the code of ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in line with organizational needs and your capabilities.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals navigating perinatal mental health challenges, those dealing with everyday stressors, and others seeking support for varying mental health conditions. Your work will considerably impact the lives of these individuals, fostering resilience and encouraging healthy coping mechanisms.

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related fields.
• Active mental health license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) as required by state regulations.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey information effectively and empathetically.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a busy outpatient mental health clinic.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, confirmed through third-party verification.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and other relevant technologies is a plus.

• Experience in community mental health settings or with perinatal mental health.
• Skills in leading group therapy sessions or community outreach programs.
• Knowledge of local resources and networks that support mental health initiatives.
