What is an Entry Level Remote Mainframe Developer?

An Entry Level Remote Mainframe Developer is a professional who works with mainframe computer systems, often from a remote location, to develop, maintain, and support software applications. Mainframes are powerful computers used by large organizations for critical tasks such as transaction processing and data management. In this entry-level role, developers typically work with legacy programming languages like COBOL, JCL, and DB2, assisting senior developers and learning the intricacies of mainframe environments.
