This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, formulate clinical diagnoses, and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
  • Provide crisis intervention and rapid response to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies and direct support.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation of client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards.
  • Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and follow-ups.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, avenues for treatment, and community resources, advocating for their rights and needs effectively.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, attending training and workshops to stay updated on the latest best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population that represents various cultural backgrounds and experiences. Clients may present with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and transitional life stressors. Your role is crucial in building rapport and providing customized support, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington State.
  • Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.
