Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for new clients to fully understand their unique challenges and underlying issues, formulating precise clinical diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented, utilizing evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or others suited to the client's needs.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, providing services that span individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional support.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment efficiency, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to develop comprehensive care strategies tailored to each client.
  • Advocate for clients by educating them and their families about treatment options, community resources, and their rights within the healthcare system.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and peer supervision to stay updated with the latest advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Qualifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW).
