• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, establish clinical diagnoses, and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), specifically adjusted to meet the unique goals of each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and developing safety plans as needed.
• Document all treatment processes meticulously, maintaining accurate and confidential records that adhere to ethical and legal standards, ensuring seamless integration into our electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other specialists, to create comprehensive care plans that address all aspects of a client's health.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment modalities, and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs within the system.
• Engage in continuous professional development by pursuing ongoing education and attending workshops, ensuring familiarity with the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

You will work with a wide array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our client demographic spans various ages and backgrounds, reflecting the diverse community of Elgin, Illinois, and beyond. Your culturally competent approach will allow you to effectively support clients through their unique challenges, helping them achieve meaningful personal development and resilience.

• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Therapist in one of the following areas: LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; experience with evidence-based treatment methodologies is essential.
• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
• A commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards within the mental health field.

• Experience in a clinical or telehealth setting is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
