Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve a variety of essential duties aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of our clients. These include:

  • Actively seeking opportunities for professional development through workshops, webinars, and peer consultations to stay current with mental health trends and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clinic prioritizes creating an inclusive space for individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring that treatment is culturally sensitive and respectful of each client's unique narrative.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapeutic services to clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on active listening and empathetic responses to foster rapport and trust.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a broad range of therapy modalities and techniques.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
