Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve a variety of essential duties aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of our clients. These include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and creating tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to promote personal growth, emotional healing, and relationship improvement.
• Applying various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients' unique circumstances and challenges.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment plans, client progress, and session notes in accordance with our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Actively seeking opportunities for professional development through workshops, webinars, and peer consultations to stay current with mental health trends and best practices.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clinic prioritizes creating an inclusive space for individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring that treatment is culturally sensitive and respectful of each client's unique narrative.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapeutic services to clients.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on active listening and empathetic responses to foster rapport and trust.

• Experience working with a broad range of therapy modalities and techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
• Training or experience in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention methods is highly desirable.
