Position Overview

Timeless Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist, available for a full-time remote role. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic services to a diverse client base, effectively addressing a wide range of mental health issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapeutic interventions, and fostering an environment of healing and resilience.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, utilizing diagnostic criteria to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other modalities that suit the therapeutic goals of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to support clients facing acute psychological distress or emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, complying with all ethical and legal requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to clients.
  • Engage clients and their families in educational discussions regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available within the community, advocating for their needs as necessary.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, attending workshops, webinars, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide range of demographics and backgrounds, facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will develop rapport with individuals, couples, and families, customizing your therapeutic approach to meet each client’s unique circumstances and goals for mental health improvement.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in Washington State is required.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work both independently to manage your caseload and collaboratively within a team of mental health professionals.
  • A commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical setting is desirable but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
  • Experience with specific populations (e.g., children, LGBTQ+ individuals, etc.) or issues (e.g., trauma, substance use) may enhance your effectiveness in client interventions.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
