Compensation: $43,000 – $46,000 (commensurate with experience, and qualifications)

We are currently seeking a File Clerk to provide administrative support to multiple Attorneys, and Paralegals within the Business Department. This is an entry-level clerk/assistant position that offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth. What You'll Do

  • Create, update, and maintain database records with a high level of accuracy
  • Prepare routine correspondence and administrative documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems and records
  • Ensure files removed from file rooms are properly checked out to the requesting individual
  • Locate and retrieve files, folders, or documents for firm employees, and refile materials upon return
  • Perform filing, faxing, copying, and mailing as required
  • Handle courier duties as needed for the firm
  • Work on-site 100% of the time due to the job responsibilities


What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Minimum one year experience in an office environment
  • Excellent administrative, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Accurate typing skills and prior experience with Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, photocopiers/scanners, and fax machines
  • Valid CA driver’s license, vehicle, and active car insurance

Preferred

  • Paralegal certificate obtained or currently in progress (this role is often an entry-level position for aspiring paralegals)
