Job description

The Physical Plant Department is looking for students to work in the building maintenance and grounds (landscape) departments. 

Building maintenance duties:

  • Painting
  • Carpentry
  • Basic electrical,
  • Basic air conditioning
  • Other assigned tasks 

Grounds (landscape) duties:

Clearing sidewalks and driveways of debris

Basic plant care (trimming, fertilizing)

Weeding

Mulching

Required Skills

Must have a current driver's license

Lift a minimum of 25lbs

Extended period of time walking and physical activity

Preferred work shift:  Part-Time Morning      8 am to 12 pm (noon) Monday - Friday

Preferred work shift:  Part-Time Afternoon   12:30 pm to 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday, and Friday 12:30 pm-3:30 pm

Other work shifts may be considered however dependent upon department needs

Wage Range: $16.90-17.30/hr
