The Position:
ISC Engineering is currently seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical and Instrumentation Department. The successful candidate will work alongside of other engineers, designers, and drafters to develop construction work packages within the chemical and refining industry. This position is geared toward launching a recent graduate into a growth driven path to success working projects from conception through construction
Applicants should have the ability to:
  • Develop and/or review designs and installations to ensure correctness and compliance with standards, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and project deliverables
  • Responsible for the E&I design basis on assigned projects
  • Defines specifications for budgetary quotes / estimates related to equipment and designs as assigned.
  • Evaluate deviations to designs and make recommendations for resolution
  • Assemble detailed construction bid packages for execution
  • Assist in creating cost estimates for scopes of work
  • Comfortable providing creative, alternative solutions
  • Support electrical engineering activities within multi-discipline project teams
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact well within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills both oral and written

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) or the ability to become licensed
  • Co-Op or Internship experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferred but not required
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge and ability to apply industry codes and standards
  • TWIC Card or the ability to acquire one
  • Ability to perform job walks and site visits to client facilities
