The Opportunity: This is an entry-level position at a Law Firm in the Financial District in Boston. Daily duties focus on mail sorting and delivery, package receipt, printing and scanning of documents, conference room upkeep, as well as back up receptionist duties. IST is looking for friendly, service-oriented, customer focused people with a passion for excellence. We offer professional training, skills enhancement, and opportunities to advance toward supervisor, assistant manager and site manager positions.
Hourly Compensation: $18.00-$19.25/HR
Location: Office is on Lincoln Street, near the Financial District, and conveniently located to stations for all of the different lines on the MBTA
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Operating mailing, copy and fax equipment
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Typing correspondence, filing, copying, data entry, word processing, sending and receiving faxes, sorting mail and other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Shipping & Receiving/Ordering supplies/Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers; Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper
  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages/Maintain copier equipment
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines/Take direction from supervisor or site manager; Adhere to all safety procedures/Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Participate in cross-training Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management
  • Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds
