The company is known for responsiveness, professionalism, and delivering exceptional service during critical situations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Business Development Manager to expand their commercial relationships and generate new business opportunities within the market.

Position Overview

The Commercial Construction Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new commercial relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and increasing revenue through strategic relationship development.

This is a true outside business development role focused on building referral partnerships, networking within the community, identifying opportunities, and creating a strong commercial pipeline.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who thrives on meeting new people, building relationships, and creating opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow commercial accounts within an assigned territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, outreach, and relationship development
  • Build relationships with commercial decision-makers including:
    • Property managers
    • Facility managers
    • Insurance professionals
    • Commercial real estate professionals
    • Business owners
    • Other strategic referral partners
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, networking activities, and client visits
  • Generate opportunities for restoration and reconstruction services
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Track activity, opportunities, and relationship development through CRM systems
  • Follow opportunities through the sales process
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure excellent client experiences
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and revenue objectives
