Job description

Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Medical Assistant. Hours are 8 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. This position is primarily located at our Alvernon site, with occasional travel to our La Cholla site.
The CMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:
  • Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
  • Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
  • Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
  • Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
  • Monitors supplies
  • Maintains patient confidentiality

Experience and Other Requirements:
We are seeking candidates that have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the following attributes:
  • Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
  • Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
  • Responsible, reliable and empathetic
  • Proficient in Windows based PC applications
  • Prior medical office experience helpful
  • Active CPR certification
  • Certificate of completion from an Accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 or more years serving as a Medical Assistant (eligible for certification).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
