Radiology Technologist (Nights)Role Summary

Elevate your clinical practice as a vital member of a high-performing Diagnostic Imaging team in the scenic setting of Show Low, Arizona. As a Radiology Technologist on the night shift, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic radiography across a variety of settings, including routine radiographs, C-ARM surgical imaging, fluoroscopy, and critical trauma procedures. This role is designed for a technically proficient professional who acts as a fierce patient advocate and a mentor to the next generation of technologists. Working in an environment that prioritizes patient safety as a core value, you will ensure every imaging study meets the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Imaging Mastery: Perform various high-quality radiographic procedures, including standard X-rays, C-ARM imaging in surgical settings, fluoroscopy, and high-pressure trauma procedures.

  • Patient Advocacy: Serve as a dedicated advocate for every patient, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the imaging process.

  • Clinical Coordination: Receive and confirm physician orders for examinations, ensuring clinical necessity and accuracy.

  • Mentorship & Education: Take an active role in the development of the clinical team by mentoring and teaching radiology students.

  • Safety & Ethics: Promote organizational Patient Safety Standards and adhere to the SHINE Behavior Standards, reflecting professional etiquette and excellence.

  • Multimodal Support: Assist in other imaging modalities as needed and support patient transport and departmental communication to ensure smooth night-shift operations.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current ARRT (R) registration and state licensure as required for practice in Arizona.

  • Skills: Proficiency in operating C-ARM and fluoroscopy equipment; experience with trauma imaging protocols.

  • Communication: Ability to follow complex clinical orders and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary trauma and surgical teams.

  • Self-Motivation: Ability to function independently during night-shift hours with high clinical accuracy.
