Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Every day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. You will be expected to contribute to a positive patient experience through direct and supportive interaction.
To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Acts as a preceptor for new staff members and a resource for the department.
  • Can troubleshoot minor issues and assist with computers.
  • Assist with charge codes.
  • Manages and operates imaging equipment.
  • Can work in any procedure.
  • Maintains proficiency and can be a superuser with lifesaving equipment; defib, BVM, temp, and external pacing, etc., and interventional equipment; Rotablator, Impella, balloon pump, atherectomy, and thrombectomy modalities.

  • Completion of approved JCERT Radiologic Technologist program and Two (2) years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ - RTR
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
  • Basic Life Support - AHA BLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - AHA ACLS


Preferred

  • Bachelor's Other Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University/College
  • Experience in a specialty area or high-acuity facility
  • Registered Cardiac Electr - RCES
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - RCIS
