Job Description:
Summary of job functions:
  • Responsible for the implementing of quality inspection plans for in-process production and final release.
  • Responsible for the timely closure of Device History Records for in-process Finished Goods - including assistance with the investigation and closure of Non-Conforming Material Reports at the Interventional Specialties Manufacturing facility, Mannford, OK.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Is responsible for the scheduling and implementation of quality inspection plans for in-process production and final release.
  • Performs final DHR release for in-process finished goods.
  • Provides supplemental quality support to on-going projects and technical service requests.
  • Assists with the investigation and closure of applicable Non-Conforming Material Reports.
  • Works with management to enhance the quality system with the Mannford facility.
  • Provides proactive feedback to Manufacturing and Material personnel on quality issues.
  • Applies analytical and problem solving techniques in the normal course of daily activities.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO, EN, QSR (GMP's), GLP and other regulatory requirements related to the manufacture of medical devices.
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques as related to sampling.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Lead or Production Quality Engineer

Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 2 years' experience in the quality system of the Mannford facility (or equivalency).
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to explain and demonstrate technical methodologies to all levels of the organization.
  • Must be highly motivated and be able to multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to lead applicable Production personnel by example.
