Position Overview

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for verifying product quality throughout the manufacturing process by performing inspections at designated hold points. This Quality Control (QC) Inspector role involves generating documentation, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. The ideal Quality Control (QC) Inspector has strong inspection experience, advanced Excel skills, and a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.

Required Experience & Skills

• Level 2 QC experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including managing and updating workbooks
• Experience with quality documentation and inspection reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections at designated hold points throughout the shop
• Verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Generate testing and inspection documentation for internal and customer use
• Enter test results accurately into customer data books
• Maintain and manage inspection and testing records in Excel
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure all inspections comply with company procedures and industry standards
