Quality Inspectors (Manufacturing) -- Tulsa, OK
Wedlake Enclosure Systems is hiring Quality Inspectors to support our manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly operations on 1st and 2nd shift. This role is responsible for inspecting generator enclosures to ensure they meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards, with a focus on dimensional accuracy, workmanship, and finish quality.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with a welding, fabrication, or manufacturing background who want to grow a career in quality inspection and production support.
What You'll Do
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on fabricated products.
  • Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and workmanship.
  • Verify dimensions, fit-up, doors, panels, louvers, and hardware installation.
  • Inspect paint, coatings, and surface prep for coverage and defects.
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials or workmanship (NCRs).
  • Communicate quality issues with production and engineering teams.
  • Verify corrective actions and assist with re-inspection.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation.
  • Reliable with flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift.

Preferred
  • Experience with generator enclosures or similar metal fabrication.
  • Welding or fabrication background.
  • Familiarity with weld inspection and coating/paint quality
