General Job Description:

Performs duties of an expediting nature, including close follow-up in operational details to assure timely processing and shipment of parts and production with established schedules and priorities. Keeps supervision informed at all times of work in process, status. Contacts clerical engineering and supervisory personnel as required or as assigned to provide assistance in resolving problems and ensuring timely action with respect to such things as material procurement, parts scheduling, dispatching, assembly, inspection and shipment of products.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Entry level, high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing knowledge and/or production control experience
  • QA inspection experience helpful
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • ** Must be Forklift Certified


Specific Duties:

  1. Provide material support to work center
  2. Pull kits of raw materials for work orders and issue them to work centers
  3. Stage job materials to be shipped for outside operation
  4. Move in-process materials between work centers, QA and shipping/receiving to efficiently facilitate production and finished goods availability
  5. Assure conformance to all materials handling, identification and storage policies
  6. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
  7. Assist in performing all inventory transactions on the computer system
  8. Assist in performing shipping and receiving activities and preparation of related paperwork
  9. Recommend continuous improvement actions for improving work processes
