Join our Software Development team as a Quality Assurance Lead, where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our software products meet high standards of quality, usability, and reliability.

In this role, you’ll lead quality assurance efforts across the software development lifecycle, collaborate closely with developers and business partners, and mentor team members to strengthen testing practices and outcomes. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while helping deliver solutions that exceed member and staff expectations and support the credit union’s digital channels.

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non‑functional requirements
  • Execute manual and automated test cases; identify, document, and track defects using defect‑tracking tools
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, testing, and release management
  • Apply appropriate QA approaches across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Lead, mentor, and support QA team members and other staff involved in quality assurance
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of QA standards, processes, and methodologies

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
      • Minimum of two years of experience in software quality assurance
      • Experience with multiple testing types, including functional, non‑functional, system, user acceptance, regression, and integration testing
      • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies
      • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
