Job description

Job Posting The City of Apple Valley is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Supervisor - Utilities Collection/Distribution. Responsible for supervising Public Works full-time, part-time, and seasonal utilities maintenance personnel, and volunteers. Along with the Public Works Supervisor - Utilities Water Treatment, assists the Public Works Superintendent - Utilities in directing, planning and coordinating the administration of a comprehensive public works operation that will ensure the safe, economical and efficient operation of the City's Utilities Division.

Assists with employee coaching, performance evaluations, and discipline. Assists with budget preparation. Must be available for emergencies such as water breaks, SCADA alarms, snow and ice control, etc.
