Security Officer Recruit (Entry-Level/Internship)

Company: Ronin Protection Solutions Inc. Location: Stanislaus, San Joaquin & Bay Area Counties, CA Employment Type: Part-Time / As-Needed (Post-Licensure) Position Type: Entry-Level / Training-to-Field Pipeline

Position Overview

Ronin Protection Solutions Inc. is seeking Security Officer Recruits interested in beginning a professional career in private security. This entry-level recruitment role is designed to prepare motivated candidates to successfully complete California BSIS-mandated training, obtain their Guard Card, and transition into field operations as an entry-level Security Officer.

This position is conditional upon the recruit’s successful completion of all required training and licensing. Please note that training is unpaid. Once officially licensed, recruits will be legally authorized to stand post and perform security duties.

Recruitment & Licensing Conditions

Employment is conditional upon:

Completion of BSIS-required Powers of Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force training

Successful issuance of a California BSIS Guard Registration

Recruits are responsible for all costs associated with:

Required training and certification

Licensing fees

Uniforms and required gear

No field assignments will be made until all licensing requirements are met

Post-Licensure Employment

Upon successful completion of training and licensure:

Recruits become eligible for entry-level security officer assignments

Assignments are part-time and as needed

Officers work under the direct supervision of senior officers and site supervisors

Continued coaching, evaluation, and development provided

Duties & Training Focus

During the recruit phase and early field assignment, individuals will be trained and developed in:

Professional conduct and appearance standards

Observation, reporting, and documentation

Site-specific post orders and procedures

Communication and customer service skills

Access control and patrol fundamentals

De-escalation and incident awareness

Working within the limits of authority defined by California law

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States

Ability to pass a background check per BSIS standards

Reliable transportation and communication

Professional demeanor and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Preferred (Not Required)

Military, law enforcement, or public-service interest

Prior customer service or security exposure

Long-term interest in advancing within the security field
