Job description

We are seeking a motivated Triage Engineer to support propulsion system diagnostics, testing, and analysis across internal combustion (ICE), hybrid, and battery electric vehicle (BEV) platforms. This entry-level engineering role is designed for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, data analysis, and production support in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support issue triage, validation activities, and in-plant problem solving using industry-standard diagnostic tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-of-line (EOL) testing, ECU flashing, and in-plant readiness activities
  • Assist with first-level analysis (FLA) by reviewing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), logs, and vehicle data
  • Use CANalyzer, CANoe, and INCA to collect and analyze vehicle data
  • Support troubleshooting of propulsion system issues in plant or test environments
  • Assist with calibration validation and data collection
  • Document findings, test results, and issue summaries
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Follow established processes, standards, and test procedures
  • Support continuous improvement and documentation updates
  • Participate in training and skill development

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Basic understanding of propulsion systems (ICE, Hybrid, or BEV)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to plants as required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or co-op experience in automotive engineering, diagnostics, or validation
