Job description

Your Contribution
  • You benefit from an 18-24 month trainee program that is tailored to your personal needs
  • An assignment abroad at one on our Mexico locations

  • Coordination of concept, design, and release of components and modules within MAHLE
  • BOM management in SAP and coordination of packaging of products into customer vehicle environments.
  • Define thermal capacities and technical requirements for components and align with customer needs
  • Oversee product cost sensibility and sensitivity
  • Create and execute DVP&R
  • You will get to know our business areas from different perspectives, especially with a focus on strategic initiatives as well as the analysis of all relevant external and internal factors to derive product strategies and measures, covering the full product lifecycle
  • You are involved in international and challenging project assignments in various positions in the Product Development department. You will also gain insights into other departments and complete at least one stay abroad in Mexico.
  • You will get to know our business areas from different perspectives - especially with a focus on strategic initiatives as well as the analysis of all relevant external and internal factors to derive product strategies and measures, covering the full product lifecycle

Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • International experience through studies abroad or internships
  • High motivation, curiosity, and commitment to professional and personal development
  • Holistic entrepreneurial and change mindset, excellent analytical well as hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and persuasiveness paired with a high level of initiative and change mindset
  • English proficiency and ideally another foreign language
  • Familiarity with heat exchanger (eg. evaporator, condenser, radiator, oil cooler, charge-air-cooler) manufacturing processes preferred
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics
  • Experience with stamping and brazing preferred
  • Basic knowledge in Project Management principles
