You work independently with no micromanagement - you run your route at your own pace. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Each evening you'll walk your assigned Sparks or Spanish Springs apartment community. You'll collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors and transport everything to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. You'll separate recycling, check for contamination, and tidy up common areas. Check-in and check-out happens through a mobile app where you'll document your route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed.
SCHEDULE AND PAY
Shifts run Monday through Friday evenings only. Typical start time is 6:30 or 7:00 PM and most Porters finish within 2 hours. There are no weekend requirements. Pay is $20 per hour at standard sites and $25 per hour at sites that require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck.
WHAT YOU NEED
You must be 18 or older with a valid Nevada driver's license and auto insurance. A smartphone with an active data plan and location services is required. You should be reliable, professional, and self-motivated, and able to walk extensively, climb stairs, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather. A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites, where pay increases to $25 per hour. You must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
No experience? No problem. We train everyone. If you show up and do the work, you'll succeed here.
