Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Project Analyst who can support the planning and execution of technical initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. As a Visa Project Analyst, you will be part of our Technology Management team, which manages the services and support architecture across our internal technology teams. You'll drive project activities, maintain project documentation, track deliverables, and support communication across technical and business stakeholders. Your ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and contribute to solution delivery will help ensure the success of critical infrastructure projects that support Visa's operations globally.
The Work You'll Be Doing:
  • Support project managers and technical teams, under general guidance, in coordinating small to moderately complex technology projects and defined workstreams within larger initiatives
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, status updates, risk and issue logs, action items, dependency lists, and supporting documentation
  • Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and timelines; escalate blockers and follow up on assigned actions to support project execution
  • Review project data, identify trends or gaps, reconcile information across sources, and support metrics tracking to improve visibility into project health
  • Prepare or support recurring project status reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and leadership updates using accurate and timely project information
  • Use approved AI-enabled tools to support project coordination, summarize project information, draft status materials, identify follow-up items, and improve efficiency in documentation and reporting
  • Participate in planning meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder updates to capture decisions, confirm next steps, and support follow-through
  • Coordinate across technical, business, and operational teams to gather updates, confirm dependencies, and support timely decision-making
  • Support process improvement efforts by helping maintain templates, documentation standards, project artifacts, and operational best practices
  • Use Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio, to organize information, analyze project details, and communicate project progress

The Skills You Bring:
  • Foundational understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices; entry-level project management training such as PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent coursework preferred

  • Interest in continued development through internal training on payment systems, project management fundamentals, communication skills, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional coordination, and SSL/TLS basics

  • Project Management Foundation: experience and understanding of basic project management practices, including schedule tracking, issue and risk management, action item follow-up, stakeholder coordination, and status reporting

  • Organization and Planning: Maintain strong time management, prioritization, organizational, and planning skills while managing multiple tasks and project details

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate working proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio, and applies these tools to support project planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation

  • Reporting and Metrics: Support project reporting, dashboard preparation, meeting documentation, metrics tracking, and analysis of project data to identify trends, gaps, and areas requiring follow-up

  • AI-Enabled Productivity: Use approved AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, synthesize information, draft communications, identify trends or gaps, and support project reporting while maintaining data quality, confidentiality, and appropriate human review

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate clearly with project stakeholders, supports stakeholder expectation management, escalates risks or blockers appropriately, and uses effective interpersonal skills to influence follow-through, clarify ownership, and support timely decision-making within the scope of the role

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement by helping maintain project templates, documentation practices, reporting routines, and repeatable processes that improve team efficiency and project visibility

  • Growth Mindset: Actively participate in Visa internal development programs and training opportunities to deepen knowledge of Visa's ecosystem, project management practices, and industry best practices

We do not expect that any single candidate would fulfill all of these characteristics. For instance, we have awesome team members who are really focused on building scalable systems but didn't work with payments technology or web applications before joining Visa.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
