Position Overview

TheAssistant Preconstruction/MEP Preconstruction Managerplays a key role in planning and coordinating complex construction projects across the Northeast. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working with experienced preconstruction and MEP leaders, supporting bidding, estimating, and project setup while building strong relationships with internal teams and trade partners.It'san ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated individual looking to grow their career in a collaborative, team-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistwith document setup and control across all assigned projects, including coordination with the design team and subcontractors.
  • Make daily calls to subcontractors to confirm bid participation andassistin bid scoping.
  • Become proficient in LKCo software tools such as ISQFT, OST, Assemble, Join, Compass, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Prepare and distribute bid packages in coordination with Preconstruction Managers.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and draft scope descriptions for subcontracted trades.
  • Review Architect/Engineering documents to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and coordination.
  • Support RFP (request for proposal) and RFI (request for information) responses underdirectionof the Director of Preconstruction.
  • Contribute todocumentation and database efforts for future project reference.
  • Maintainstrong communicationwith internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level;construction experience or relevant coursework is a plus.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Clear and professional communicator.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is$65,000- $105,000 annually,representingthe company's good-faith and reasonable estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as experience, skills, responsibilities, and current market conditions.
