Job description

Seeking to hire an entry-level engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity to support our client’s technical team. This role involves hands-on work in preparing test samples, conducting tests, and assisting with technical documentation and analysis.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of test samples according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Set up and operate testing equipment (e.g., tensile testers, hardness testers, electrical hipot tester).
  • Perform routine testing using laboratory equipment and tools under supervision.
  • Record and analyze test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support engineers with troubleshooting test setups and interpreting results.
  • Document procedures, observations, and outcomes in technical reports.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of project tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, etc.) or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and laboratory practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
