Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
Location: Thompsons Station, TN 37179
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
 


Position Overview:

We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Thompson Street, TN. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with 0–1 year of laboratory experience to gain hands-on exposure in a professional R&D and quality-focused lab environment. The role involves supporting scientists and engineers with sample collection, analysis, and laboratory operations.


Key Responsibilities:Research & Development Support
  • Assist in the setup and execution of controlled research experiments

  • Support scientists/engineers in collecting samples and performing chemical/biological analyses

  • Coordinate daily lab activities and contribute to project planning and execution

Laboratory Technical Analysis
  • Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate physical and chemical properties of materials/products

  • Collect, prepare, and test lab samples; accurately record findings and observations

  • Prepare detailed lab reports, including recommendations and conclusions

  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory instruments

  • Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and risk control plans


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field

  • 0–1 year of experience in microbiology or related lab environments

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as part of lab duties

  • Practical knowledge of ISO 17025, aseptic techniques, and contamination prevention

  • Experience with LIMS, ELN, Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer proficiency

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to adapt in dynamic settings

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and team-oriented mindset

  • Comfortable working in environments with changing priorities and some ambiguity
