POSITION TITLE: Entry-Level Commercial Painter Company: Profeta Painting Location: Rochester, NY Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $18-24/hour (based on experience) Position Overview: Profeta Painting is looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Commercial Painter to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in the painting trade. In this role, you'll assist with preparing and applying coatings to a variety of commercial and industrial surfaces, both interior and exterior.

You'll work alongside experienced painters and receive hands-on training in tools, techniques, and safety practices. Key Responsibilities: Assist with surface preparation including scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and (with training) spray equipment Help complete projects in commercial settings such as offices, warehouses, and retail spaces Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors Support project timelines while learning to maintain quality standards Qualifications: No prior commercial painting experience required (training provided) Basic construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day Preferred (Not Required): Any experience with painting, construction, or general labor Familiarity with hand and power tools OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay with opportunities for raises as skills develop Overtime opportunities available Paid time off and holidays Health benefits (if applicable) On-the-job training and skill development Why Join Profeta Painting.
